Two American chains, Subway and 7-Eleven, are running free food promotions Tuesday. Subway is giving away free 6-inch subs to the first million customers as part of a promotional campaign for its revamped menu, while 7-Eleven is handing out free 7.11 oz Slurpees, a promotion it does every year on 7/11.
Free Sandwhiches: Subway launched a revamped menu featuring freshly-sliced meats as opposed to packaged cold cuts. The sub chain announced four new ‘chef-crafted’ subs: the Titan Turkey, the Grand Slam Ham, the Garlic Roast Beef and one just called the “Beast sub”.
Customers can try a 6-inch version of one of Subway’s new subs for free, but are limited to one sandwich per patron. To learn more about Subway’s new menu items, visit its website here.
Free Slurpees: 7-Eleven is known for its Slurpee, a sugary, frozen drink best enjoyed in the heat. This year is the company’s 21st consecutive year running the free Slurpee promotion. Members of the 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards will also see other deals, like a $1 hot dog.
