Troy Noonan: From Shorting The Pound, To Traveling, To Mentoring Thousands Of Traders

In 1992, trading coach Troy Noonan made a pivotal trade, shorting the British Pound along with billionaire George Soros and others. 

The financial freedom this gave him allowed him to spend years traveling around the world, and meeting his now wife in Caracas, Venezuela. "The trade that changed my life" allowed Noonan to make trading and traveling a regular part of his life, with him trading his way through a European trip during the Dot Com Boom of the late '90s.

After his many travels around Europe and South America, Troy ultimately founded his current company, The Backpack Trader, which symbolizes the freedom one gets from successfully trading the markets.

Starting his journey with NetPicks, LLC in 2006, a trusted provider of Investment and Trading Education since 1996, Troy quickly rose to prominence as the director and Moderating Host of a successful live trade room. He quickly developed into a mentor and coach.

In 2009, Troy's innovative streak led to the creation of one of NetPicks' most successful trade systems, the Seven Summits Trader (SST). The same year, he co-developed the Ultimate Trade Analyzer, a pivotal tool that paved the way for the SST. Building on the success of SST, he introduced the SST Simple and SST Pro, catering to different levels of traders. Not stopping there, he also developed the Dynamic Profit Generator (DPG), a free trade tool.

Today, Troy’s products boast over 2000 users across 110 countries. Drawing from his vast experience and learning from his previous strategies, he introduced the Counter Punch Trader, which has numerous YouTube videos showcasing live trading sessions, especially with the Crude Oil Inventory Report. Following that he released newer strategies which include Spotlight Power Trader & Master Suite and The Catapult Xtreme. His number one product currently is a high end training programme called CEO Trader Mastermind where he teaches traders using his unique Tradeplan Hacking Framework.

Troy's influence isn't limited to online platforms. He has conducted live training events in global cities like London, Paris, San Francisco, and New York, to name a few. He has also penned two eBooks, "12 Powers to Successful Trading" and "No Brainer Guide to Trading Success", with two published books, ‘Forex QuickStart Guide’ and ’Day Trading QuickStart Guide’ which is in the top 20 trading books of all time according to BookAuthority.
