Los Angeles-based wellness brand, Hugh & Grace, has just reached its 5,000 Advocate milestone, meaning 5,000 individuals have joined Hugh & Grace as brand advocates, channeling their passion for the products into a business opportunity, selling the products, earning an income and participating in a values-based, supportive community.

The company was founded in May 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, having only 200 advocates participating in the Advocate program. The brand has seen tremendous growth and engagement as more customers align with their mission and join the Advocate program.

Hugh & Grace is coming at the right time as studies show more and more people desire a need for in-person, authentic community and connection beyond the digital landscape. Hugh & Grace has come to the table with a solution providing human connection, purpose and powerful, natural products that work.

Hugh & Grace Brand Advocates

Hugh & Grace was founded by Sara and Ben Jensen, a married couple who faced unexplained fertility issues for over a decade. Many medical specialists informed the pair that their difficulties may have been caused by Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs). These chemicals have become increasingly discussed within the last 50 years as they can block or mimic hormone responses within the body. Since these chemicals affect hormone production and the endocrine system, they are linked to infertility, depression, cancers, auto-immune diseases and many other health issues.

To provide people with EDC-free alternatives, Sara and Ben founded Hugh & Grace, a wellness company named after their two miracle babies that were made possible through two family members who volunteered to be their surrogates. The company offers natural, high-performing, versatile products that help support hormone health.

Hugh & Grace developed their Advocate program to authentically share the company’s story and products with people across the world. Once someone has registered, they have immediate access to extensive training materials, a connected community, 25% off products and the opportunity to earn an income by selling the products. Advocates can earn between 25-40% commissions on their sales as well as the opportunity to attend trips and retreats available to the top earning Advocates.

Sara Jensen was inspired by Brownie Wise, a woman from the 1950s who created Tupperware parties to build community and sell products many housewives needed. Utilizing a modernized framework, Hugh & Grace was able to grow their Advocate base rapidly without any digital ads, all authentically through word-of-mouth. Their Advocate program allows people to earn income even if they’re unable to work a full-time position. In the past years, Sara and Ben have seen numerous Advocates express how the work and products from Hugh & Grace have transformed their lives.

"Our vulnerability has allowed us to bond with our Advocates on a personal level. We can relate on experiences and that connection empowers us to progress conversations about simple solutions for hormone health,” says Sara Jensen.

Hugh & Grace has become profitable and impactful to communities across the United States in just a few short years. Ben and Sara plan to expand their Advocate tour activities and product selection to promote healthy company growth. The founders hope that their company can continue to be a lifeline for people struggling with EDC related issues for the foreseeable future.

In an effort to continue to expand, founders Ben & Sara continue to embark on their cross country RV tour each summer in the Hugh & Grace RV.  The RV tour is a great way for the founders to personally connect with various communities, learn first hand other’s stories and situations and continue to shape and hone the Hugh & Grace offer to help others. The couple has held over 60 wellness events in one year and enjoys interacting with their community and customers. They get to see the impact their company and story has for people from all backgrounds.

"The idea that we've built a community that has grown from the principles of people helping other people is amazing. Sara and I feel that it’s our greatest accomplishment at Hugh & Grace because it allows us to show that we’re doing things differently. We are a wellness company, which isn’t new, but we have created a platform to organically create an environment that is uplifting, inclusive, and impactful for all the members involved,” says Ben Jensen.
