Innovation Takes the Stage At Recent OTCQB Venture Virtual Investor Conference

At the most recent Virtual Investor Conference hosted by OTC Markets Group, the spotlight was on companies trading on the OTCQB Venture Market, focused on growth and innovation across sectors.

Investor presentations from 12 companies traded on the OTCQB brought together forward-looking organizations creating exciting new products and services from a diverse set of industries including artificial intelligence, augmented reality, cybersecurity, healthcare, green technologies and more.

The conference started off with a presentation given by the founder and CEO of augmented reality company NexTech AR Solutions NEXCFNTAR, Evan Gappelberg. Gappelberg discussed several key points including the recent announcement of the integration of NexTech’s HoloX technology platform with the Microsoft MSFT HoloLens 2, and highlighted that NexTech is not a competitor of giants like Google GOOG and Facebook FB, but were rather in a symbiotic relationship to provide value in both directions.

An especially unique presentation was given by the CEO of sports product company Slinger Bag Inc. SLBG, Mike Ballardie. The slinger bag itself is a “portable, affordable and versatile ball launcher, designed to be used by tennis players of every level - whenever, wherever.” Ballardie talked about the success of the Slinger Bag already which has generated close to $15 million in revenue only through e-commerce, creating distribution deals across the globe, and additionally discussed the future of the company with expansion into making products for numerous other sports.

  • Tekcapital PLC TEKCFTEK): A unique intellectual property (IP) investment company that acquires and commercializes innovations that come out of major universities across the globe. Tekcapital has built 4 subsidiary companies with unique products that have come out of specialized IP. Tekcapital highlighted advancements within its subsidiaries across industries ranging from healthcare and biotech to food and autonomous vehicles.
  • AI/ML Innovations Inc. AIMLFAIML: AI/ML is a company that acquires and then advances other companies that are innovating within the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) sectors. It focused on its investments in the digital healthcare technology space across a spectrum from consumer devices for healthcare, to apps, AI/ML powered cloud analytics, and a professional health services platform.
