Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. WBD CEO David Zaslav announced on an earnings call that “Mortal Kombat 12” will launch in 2023.
The underwhelming announcement came with no trailer, no screenshots, and no press release from the company.
"And there's lots more to come, including the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, games also set for release this year with ambitious launch projections,” Zaslav let slip on yesterday’s call.

Meanwhile, an official announcement for “Mortal Kombat 12” is anticipated to take place during the summer, probably during E3 or a similar event, according to The Gamer.
The “Mortal Kombat” franchise has sold over 49 million copies worldwide, making it one of the most successful fighting game series of all time.
