In a recent announcement made via their official Twitter account, Sony SONY revealed that Playstation will be presenting a new State of Play this Thursday.
The presentation will be dedicated to showcasing 20 minutes of new gameplay footage from the highly anticipated "Final Fantasy XVI" game.

Scheduled to begin on Thursday at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CEST, the State of Play event appears to be entirely focused on "Final Fantasy XVI." This indicates that the presentation will not feature any other games or upcoming releases, but will instead provide an in-depth look at what players can expect from the latest installment in the long-running franchise.

According to Insider Gaming, several rumors have suggested that a new PlayStation Showcase will be taking place before Summer Game Fest on June 8, but no official details have been confirmed yet.
"Final Fantasy XVI" will be released on June 22 for PlayStation 5, and the game will be exclusively available on the PS5 for a period of six months. In a Japanese PlayStation Blog post, "FF16" producer Naoki Yoshida warned fans that they should not expect it to be available for PC immediately after the exclusivity period ends.
