Sony Group Corp SONY reportedly increased the prices of several PlayStation games on Valve's Steam in select regions, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Japan and South Korea are among the regions impacted by the price increase in the video game digital distribution service and storefront.

Which titles were affected? Tencent Holdings ADR's TCEHY Sackboy, Returnal, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and God of War.
The price increases occurred between April 14 and April 19. The costs vary depending on the year of release, with newer games such as Returnal having a higher price tag than older ones like Horizon Zero Dawn.
Meanwhile, the Japanese company, which has its headquarters in Minato, Tokyo, has not released an official statement on the matter.
It remains to be seen whether other digital or physical retail storefronts in the affected regions will follow suit, or if other regions will also experience similar price increases.
Here are the new prices for the affected countries:
- Argentina: from 4199 -5999 pesos to 8499 - 9999 pesos
- Canada: from $59.99 - $69.99 Canadian dollars to $64.99 - $79.99 Canadian dollars
- Chile: from 32000 - 39500 pesos to 35000 - 42000 pesos
- China: from 279 - 379 RMB to 345 - 414 RMB
- Colombia: from 159000 - 194000 pesos to 184000 - 219000 pesos
- Japan: from 4900 - 5900 yen to 6490 - 7590 yen
- South Korea: from 45880 - 58800 won to 52800 - 62800 won
