While many former print magazine publishers continue to move to online versions, Donald Trump Jr. is following in his father's footsteps by trying his hand at a business he has no experience in, “publishing a non-woke men’s lifestyle magazine” he announced Thursday.
Yes, I’m publishing a non-woke men’s lifestyle magazine. Check it out and subscribe today.https://t.co/waUJUvntGt pic.twitter.com/dhHwzoRnW3

Trump Jr., who is listed as the publisher and founder of the magazine, called Field Ethos, calls the venture a “passion project” and referred to it as a “small business” that aims to “take a step into the unknown and the global successes of conservation that preserve all of these things for generations to come.”
Along with six of his friends, five who are shown in various styles of camouflage while hunting and fishing in website profile pictures linked to in the post, Trump Jr. plans to bring in revenue not only from magazine subscriptions but through sales of T-shirts, stickers, hats, mimosa sets and bracelets that read “Roof Korean.”
The announcement made on Twitter was met with laughter, sarcasm and outrage, as well as with responses pointing out the hypocrisy of Trump Jr.’s news.
“I try not to think this way but isn't it weird that the conservative men talking about bringing manliness back are the biggest wusses in the world? Dude shoots endangered animals from cars and considers himself a hunter,” read one response under Trump Jr.’s tweet.
Another user insinuated the new business will fail, comparing the endeavor to former President Donald Trump’s various failed adventures: “I am sure this will go as well as Trump Steaks, Casinos, charities, water, univeristy…. Etc,” @redlionny wrote.
Of the top few hundred responses to Trump Jr.'s announcement, very few were positive or congratulatory:
The Grift continues, why don’t these people get jobs

Riddle me this, Big Guy, if it’s so masculine how come Field Ethos sells mimosa glasses?

Obviously the unauthorized Steve Irwin crap is far more gross. But the thought of you GI Joe cosplayers sipping mimosas at a fancy brunch is actually quite precious.
As if it’s something to be proud of. Keep clinging to your worn out tropes, Gen Z is coming.
