Apple Inc. AAPL CEO Tim Cook’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival coincided with the highly-anticipated premiere of Martin Scorsese’s “Killer of the Flower Moon” — a film that has already garnered immense praise and could potentially become Apple TV’s most significant release to date.
What Happened: “Killers of the Flower Moon,” from the house of Apple Studios, received a nine-minute standing ovation and critical praise as a “masterpiece” during its debut at the Cannes Film Festival, reported The Information.
Cook, who was also present during the show, later took to Twitter to express his support for the film and highlighted its alignment with Apple TV+’s mission of telling impactful stories.
