“I was disappointed. I love her. I want to marry her. I want her to be my anchor — someone that will have me stay put. I never had someone that kept me grounded,” he said.

Arbour, originally from Michigan, revealed that he had traveled from Atlanta via a Greyhound bus, solely driven by the aspiration of encountering the singer. He even claimed a past romantic association with her, according to the Post. 

Arbour's visit was reportedly thwarted by a vigilant building resident. After Arbour had persistently rung Swift's doorbell, a neighbor inadvertently granted him access. However, another tenant, sensing Arbour's ulterior motives, purportedly told him to leave and try again, buying time for the New York Police Department to arrive and apprehend him.

In an interview with the Post, Arbour further explained his obsession with Swift, saying, “Because she’s like most nurturing, like she is me except she is a woman. She is truly the only one that understands me.” He categorically refuted any malicious intent towards the singer.

Following the unsettling episode, Arbour, who is currently without a permanent residence, assured the paper he won't revisit Swift's home.

He also candidly spoke to the Post about what he would do next, saying he would probably "stay in the area, rummage through the garbage for food.”
