The concert film of Taylor Swift‘s successful ‘Eras Tour’ is set to hit theaters next month, despite ongoing Hollywood strikes, reported Billboard.
Swift’s concert film, shot over three nights at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, will be released in every AMC Theatre AMC in the U.S., Mexico and Canada on Oct. 13.
Questions arose on how the film was able to be produced during the ongoing Hollywood strike by actors and writers, which has largely halted production on most U.S. film, TV, and streaming projects. However, the film obtained clearance under an interim agreement struck by SAG-AFTRA, covering non-AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers) productions that meet the same standards the unions are seeking in their negotiations with the studios.
The interim agreement covers various terms from scheduled breaks to payment for fittings, wardrobe allowances, meals and more.
Every U.S. AMC Theatre location will run the 2 hours 45 minutes long ‘Eras’ film at least four times per day on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are priced at $19.89 plus tax for adults and $13.13 for children and seniors plus tax.
Following the Ticketmaster fiascos during Eras Tour presale tickets, AMC has reportedly upgraded its website and ticketing engines to handle a significant increase in ticket-buying traffic.
