Taylor Swift Fan Travels Abroad To Attend 'Eras Tour' Concert, Ready To Splurge Over $1,500

A dedicated Taylor Swift fan from the U.S. is venturing out overseas for the first time to attend the European leg of Swift’s Eras Tour. The fan has already procured tickets for one of Swift’s 2024 shows in the UK.

What Happened: As per an Insider report on Monday, this fan already attended an Eras show in the U.S. earlier this year and was blown away by the experience, prompting them to attend again. The fan secured a seat for $218 in the second tier for the Atlanta show.

Tickets for the U.K. shows were tough to get hold of, involving waitlisted presale codes for shows in London, Liverpool, and Edinburgh. However, a London-based friend managed to score tickets for them.

The London show ticket cost $120, inclusive of PayPal currency-exchange fees. Anticipating a U.K. trip for a while, the fan had been saving airline points for about a year, which will help cover future expenses for the London show.

The fan estimates a total expenditure of at least $1,500 for the trip and concert, with the hotel being the biggest expense, estimated at about $2,200. The fan plans to stay in the U.K. for over a week, sharing some of the cost with a friend.
