Taylor Swift has accomplished yet another record-breaking feat with her song “Cruel Summer” amassing over 1 billion streams on Spotify, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The song from her 2019 album Lover achieved this milestone on Sunday. Swift took to social media to thank her fans for this accomplishment.
“Summer just got a BILLION TIMES CRUELER,” Swift wrote on her Instagram story, expressing her joy over the achievement. “Love you all so much for this.”

Swift’s other song “Anti-Hero,” from her album Midnights, has also made it to Spotify’s 1 billion-stream list, joining 468 other songs.
Swift’s achievement follows her recent milestone of becoming the first female artist in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners.
