Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has seized the top spot on U.S. Pop Radio from Taylor Swift, disrupting Swift’s five-week reign. This development has fueled rumors of a feud between the two singers, Music Times reported.
Rodrigo’s single “Vampire” from her forthcoming second album “GUTS” has ousted Swift’s “Cruel Summer.” Fans have speculated that “Vampire” may be about Swift, although Rodrigo has not confirmed this.
“This is such a [poetic] revenge,” wrote a fan.

The lyrics of “Vampire” hint at a possible feud, and fans’ speculations have only been fueled by Rodrigo’s non-committal response to these rumors. She stated, “I think it’s better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing.”
Speculation about a conflict between the two stars has been circulating online for some time. Contributing factors include Rodrigo not opening for Swift on tour and a dispute over song credits on Rodrigo’s track “Deja Vu.”
