If there’s a theme for 2022 and 2023 in the entertainment world, it might be that it’s Taylor Swift’s world and we’re all just living in it.
The musical superstar continues to break music records, tour records and even movie theater box office records. The “Love Story” with Swift is likely to continue in the near future with increased media attention coming.
What Happened: It has been far from a “Cruel Summer” for Swift with a record-breaking tour that has even shut down the ticketing website Ticketmaster, which is owned by Live Nation Entertainment Inc LYV.
Swift continued the celebration by winning nine 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. Four of the key award wins were shown during the telecast of the awards show on MTV, a unit of Paramount Global PARAPARAA.
Due to the increased demand for Swift-related content, MTV had a camera feed exclusively covering Swift. Want to know what Swift’s reaction was to someone else winning an award? Want to see Swift singing along to other performances? Thanks to this camera, you likely saw it if you watched the awards show.
Swift sat in the front row and a cameraman was seen filming her continuously, as reported by Variety.
With a win for “Video of the Year,” Swift made history as the first artist to win the award in back-to-back years. Swift also leads the way with the most wins in the history of the category with four. Swift’s 23 total VMA wins rank second only to Beyonce.
“Based on the memories that we’ve made recently, I’ve just been on a tour that has been the most joyful and exhilarating experience, and we’re not even halfway done. It really felt like the adventure of a lifetime this past year, and we’re not even halfway done,” Swift said while accepting her Video of the Year award.

The Tennessean newspaper, which is owned by Gannett Co GCI, is looking to hire a reporter devoted to covering Swift and only Swift.
So if you know Swift and can since along to all her songs, it’s possible that you belong with the newspaper.
The job posting, which was shared by Variety, calls for a person to cover all things Swift.
“Swift’s fanbase has grown to unprecedented heights, and so has the significance of her music and growing legacy. We are looking for an energetic writer, photographer and social media pro who can quench an undeniable thirst for all things Taylor Swift with a steady stream of content across multiple platforms,” the job posting reads.
The writer will cover the remaining dates of the Eras Tour and must be able to travel internationally. The person can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. except for Alaska or Hawaii.
