When Superheroes Meet Card Games: Marvel Characters To Feature In Hasbro's 'Magic: The Gathering'

Toy maker Hasbro, Inc HAS has expanded its long-standing relationship with the entertainment brand Marvel.

Hasbro and Marvel will develop collectible products and tentpole sets for the best-selling trading card game, Magic: The Gathering.

The first tentpole Magic set based on Marvel's fan-favorite characters will appear globally in 2025.

"These tentpole sets will build on the tradition of incorporating beloved fan-favorite characters and elements from world-class brands into Magic: The Gathering," said Cynthia Williams, President of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Digital Gaming.

Hasbro provides brand experiences for global audiences through gaming, consumer products and entertainment.

Walt Disney Company DIS subsidiary Marvel's brand spans entertainment, including film, television, publishing, licensing, games, live events, and digital media.

Price Action: HAS shares are trading lower by 2.32% at $54.76 on the last check Monday.
