Dua Lipa, the English-Albanian singer, songwriter and actress, bought back her publishing rights from TaP Music Publishing, her former management company, over a year after she left the firm.
According to Billboard, TaP Music confirmed the sale and conveyed their best wishes to the pop star for her future endeavors.
Dua Lipa initially signed with TaP management in 2013 and spent nearly a decade with the company as she rose to international stardom.
In February 2022, she parted ways with the firm and has since been managed by her father, Dukagjin Lipa. TaP Music's management roster includes artists such as Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding and Noah Cyrus.
Additionally, the company has a record label venture with Universal Music Group NV UMGNF and a publishing venture with Universal Music Publishing Group, representing clients such as Yaeji, Dermot Kennedy and Larry Heard.
Dua Lipa is gearing up to release a new single, "Houdini," on Nov. 9, following a series of teasers on social media.
Her most recent release prior to this was "Dance the Night" for the "Barbie" soundtrack, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The artist's last studio album was "Future Nostalgia" in 2020, which featured hits like "Levitating," "Don't Start Now" and "Break My Heart." Since then, she has enjoyed success with tracks like "Cold Heart" with Elton John and PNAU, "Sweetest Pie" with Megan Thee Stallion and "Potion" with Calvin Harris and Young Thug.
