Tech billionaire Elon Musk is talking up the reach of journalist Tucker Carlson's interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. His social media platform X has reported a 48% surge in Super Bowl LVIII video views.
What Happened: Musk celebrated "major platform growth" on X post Super Bowl LVIII, referring to a healthy increase in both the number of posts as well as video views on the social media platform.
According to statistics shared by one of X’s official accounts, there were 12.94 million posts on X, an increase of 26% year over year. During the same period, video views increased by 48% to 560 million.
Unique visitors increased marginally by 2% to 3.59 million, while total impressions stood at 5.92 billion.
Earlier in September, X CEO Linda Yaccarino also revealed that video views shot up 465% year-on-year in the run-up to the New York Fashion Week.
