Nick Ayala on Putting Your Clients First to Find Mutual Success

Too many businesses and brands make the cardinal error of assuming that their clients exist solely to boost their profit margins and increase their bank balance. This outdated and outmoded view is detrimental to both parties and has no future. If you ask Nick Ayala, the founder and CEO of Priority Life Insurance Group, his take on how a business should operate, he’ll tell you that only by putting your clients first will you find mutual success.

“Whatever the industry you’re working in, regardless of the field, your clients are your lifeblood and you should treat them accordingly,” says Nick Ayala. “I have never understood, and never will, the mentality of a business that disrespects its clients. It has been proved that companies that put customers first are more successful. Clients are king and you should treat them as such if you want your business to have any kind of future.”

As someone who works in insurance, Ayala understands the importance of making a client feel treasured, valued, and empowered. Ayala states, “Priority Life Insurance Group provides people with protection and reassurance for any curveballs life throws at them. Our number one priority is their welfare and happiness. If they don’t feel they can trust us or believe that their welfare is our number one priority, we have failed. If they’re happy, we’re happy, and happiness is the most fertile ground for success.”

Nick Ayala’s philosophy of putting his clients first to find mutual success also extends to his employees. He elaborates, “I think considering other people is always healthy but in business, it’s a no-brainer. You want your workforce to be happy and if you don’t care for them properly, how do you expect them to take care of your clients? Your employees are usually the first point of contact for any potential clients and so they need to project the right image and feel valued. Considering other people and putting them first has a domino effect. When we do it to individuals, they, in turn, do it to others and make the world a happier, more productive place.”
