5 Easy Ways To Make Extra Money

Today I will share the 5 best strategies that I’ve implemented to make  $10,000+ in extra cash per month.

We all want to make extra cash.

Because let’s face it:

  • Inflation is still high

  • Wages are stagnating

  • The cost of basic goods is increasing

…And we all have bills to pay.

So if you’re looking for 5 proven ways to make money fast, then keep reading.

1. Write An eBook

One of the first things I did to make money is write an ebook.

In fact, I made over $2,000 in my first week of publishing and promoting my ebook!

And if I can do it, so can you.

That’s right - anyone from anywhere in the world can write an ebook and self-publish their work on online platforms for free.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Think about a topic you’re really good at and passionate about

  2. Develop a book outline

  3. Start writing your first book draft

  4. Have someone read and edit your first draft

  5. Review and edit your first draft

  6. Rinse and repeat several times until you think your ebook is ready to self-publish

  7. Find partners who are willing to promote your ebook

What helped me make thousands of dollars with my own ebook was organizing my ebook launch well in advance.

For example, I tried building an audience on social media platforms like Twitter.

If you don’t have Twitter, you can always promote your ebook on other social media platforms

I also reached out to multiple friends I’ve met online to help promote my ebook to their audience.

As long as you are relatively knowledgeable about a particular topic and can write in good English, chances are you can make money selling your ebook.

2. Build A Website

Another way to make passive income is by building a website.

I wish I had built my website earlier.

In fact, I started thinking about building my own website 4 years before I actually developed it.

Don’t be like me.

If you’re thinking about creating your own website, then do it, my friend.

Building a website is no easy task, however.

It took me many weeks to sift through YouTube videos, blog posts, and other free course tutorials from website developers to set up the foundation for my website.

My first step was just thinking about a niche that I could cater to.

Remember, when you niche down you can actually start targeting a much higher quality audience.

So I’d suggest you start thinking about your area of expertise and an audience you’d like to target.

Typically, the most lucrative niches include:

  • Health

  • Wealth

  • Relationships

Once you determine your niche, you can niche down even further.

For example, if you’re targeting the relationship niche, you might want to build a website designed for single college students studying mathematics.

Now that’s an example of a hyper niche.

It’s a very specific target audience.

Once you’ve identified your niche, the next step is actually building your website.

I personally started by using WordPress.

Once I did some more technical research, I started writing, editing, and publishing content.

Almost daily.

The key is to publish the highest quality content as often as possible.

Admittedly, though, that’s become much harder in today’s world thanks to Artificial Intelligence programs like ChatGPT.

The key is to make your blog post the highest quality.

And typically, AI bots fail at that aspect.

However, creating high-quality posts, also means you’ll have to put in a lot of effort.

It’s the trade-off you’ll have to make.

Once you’ve actually built your website, started publishing posts, and built an audience, you can start making passive money.

There are many different ways you can make income from your website.

Some examples include:

  • Advertisements

  • Affiliate marketing

  • Other writers’ guest posts

  • Selling your own products or services

Of course, the longer you have your website, the more high quality posts you produce, and the more people reference your website, the more “authority” it gains on Google.

A higher “authority” ranking on Google will also mean that more traffic will be generated to your website.

And of course, more traffic means more money.

3. Develop A Course

What are you good at?

Or what are you passionate about?

Think really hard.

It could be:

  • Gardening

  • Dog training

  • Investing in stocks

  • Computer programming

Whatever it is that you enjoy and have some sort of expertise in, you could start building a course around your knowledge!

If you’re interested in something like gardening, then there are likely hundreds - if not thousands - of other people in the world who would want to do the same.

So if you have expertise, experience, or some sort of story about that topic, why not build a course?

Anyone from anywhere in the world could build a course, sell a course, or even buy a course.

Just make sure you provide some value in the course.

For example, when I created my course, I added over 27 hours of content, quizzes, lectures, videos, and more.

It took me a lot of upfront work.

But you want to know the best thing?

In my very first week, I made over $11,000 from my course.

That work was well worth it.

And now you could do the same.

4. Create An Online Community

If you’re passionate about a topic, then building a course around your area of expertise might not be the only option.

You could also always create an online community.

An online community is typically hosted on platforms like Slack, Discord, Telegram, and the like.

In other words, people from all over the world can sign up for your online community and interact with other members and the expert - you.

Some of the very successful online communities that I’ve seen around have additional features on top of the interactive platform.

Some examples include:

  • Inviting renowned guest speakers

  • Hosting weekly (or even daily) calls

  • Uploading weekly pieces of content

  • Providing private coaching sessions for free

Depending on your niche and of course the price of your community, you could actually make a lot of money - recurring every month.

When I built my very first community, a lot of work went into it upfront.

In fact, it took about 4 months from start to launch.

So don’t underestimate the effort that goes into an online product like a community.

Not only do you have to actually come up with the content that your community members will consume, but to increase the chances of the community’s success, you should also coordinate the launch with your friends who can then promote the community to their audience.

After all that’s said and done, you can make a lot of money with just an online community.

For example, when my community finally launched, the very first month earned over $5,500!

Now relatively speaking, that monthly $5,500 income number is actually not that much.

I know some community hosts who earn over $5 million dollars PER MONTH from their online communities.

5. Become an Affiliate Marketer

One of the very first side hustles I pursued was affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is when you promote someone else’s product or service in exchange for a small commission.

The world of affiliate marketing is oversaturated and it’s extremely hard to make money.

But let me tell you that with time and a lot of patience, you actually can start to make passive income.

You can start affiliate marketing in many different ways.

For example, you can promote products or services using your:

  • Email

  • Website

  • Podcasts

  • Newsletter

  • YouTube vidoes

  • Social media accounts

The fundamental key, however, is to have an audience.

Because after all, how can you sell a product or service if you don’t have an audience?

And that’s why not many people last in affiliate marketing.

They’re simply not patient enough to build an audience.

An audience needs trust.

And trust takes time to build.

People aren’t just going to buy products and services if they don’t know you.

But the more effort you put into building your audience through whichever platform you choose, the higher the return.

For example, it took me about 7 months before I earned my very first penny through affiliate marketing.

After that, it took me another roughly 5 months to earn my next dollar.

The first 2 years were gruelling.

I probably earned a few hundred dollars in total.

But year 3 wasn’t that bad.

In fact, I started earning between $3,000 to $9,000 per month in passive affiliate marketing income.

As you can see, though, it takes A LOT of time before you start seeing any type of result.

Closing Thoughts

Thanks to modern technology, anyone can make extra money online.

If you’re passionate about a particular topic and are relatively good at communicating that passion either in written or verbal format, you can make money.

All you need is:

  • Wifi

  • A laptop

While most of these 5 methods will require a large upfront time investment, you could build multiple income streams and start seeing 5-figure-months easily.

The best thing you can do is start now.

Your bank accounts will thank me later.
