Kin Launches No-Code Web3 Hackathon Sponsored by Bubble

October 19, 2022 (TORONTO): Kin is calling for competitors around the world to build an application utilizing the new Kin No-Code Plugin, designed to enable anyone to build a cryptocurrency app, even with zero coding experience. 

It is estimated that by 2025, 70% of all new apps developed will use no-code or low-code technologies. This is especially relevant as aspiring developers and entrepreneurs look to join the popular Web3 trend without dealing with the complex technological hurdles associated with blockchain development. For that reason, developers in the Kin Community have developed a no-code plugin compatible with Bubble, the leading no-code development platform.

Sponsored by Bubble, this hackathon is slated to last two months, giving competitors six weeks to build a functioning no-code application utilizing the Kin cryptocurrency for a chance to win their share of over $35K USD in prizes.

At the end of the six week development period, applicants will be judged by a group of Kin Foundation representatives, along with the Head of Developer Ecosystem at the Solana Foundation, as well as the creators of the Kin No-Code Plugin. Applications will be assessed based on the quality of their user experience and the innovation of their Kin cryptocurrency use-cases.
