Video game and software developer Epic Games Inc. launched a new rewards program for its PC storefront.
The initiative, dubbed Epic Rewards, lets users earn 5% back in rewards for every eligible purchase made on the Epic Games Store.
The new program is always active, free to join, and does not require any additional sign-up.

All individuals with an Epic Games account are automatically enrolled into the program at the point of purchase.
Rewards won't be instantly added to users' reward balance. Instead, the 5% back in rewards will be credited to users' accounts 14 days after the associated purchase is completed.
In addition to purchases, certain subscriptions are also eligible for earning reward points. To activate this feature, users must accept the latest version of the Epic Games Store End User License Agreement in Account Settings under the Subscriptions tab.
Users can combine their points with other discounts and coupons, enhancing their overall savings.
After being granted to users' reward balance, the rewards will expire after 25 months.
