Another standout achievement is the staggering number of monsters slain since the game's launch, surpassing an astonishing 276 billion. The game's difficulty is further reflected by the total player deaths, which reached a remarkable 317 million within the initial week.
The amount of time dedicated to playing Diablo IV during its early access phase is also significant. Collectively, players have logged over 276 million hours, equivalent to more than 30,000 years of gameplay.
Diablo IV's impact extended beyond the gaming community, as it dominated the streaming platform Twitch during its early access phase. From June 1 to June 9, Diablo IV held the top spot, surpassing previous records set by Blizzard for hours streamed and watched during a similar timeframe.
As reported by IGN, Blizzard Entertainment president Mike Ybarra, rejoiced: "On behalf of Blizzard, we want to thank the millions of players around the world who are immersing themselves in Diablo 4."
