Microsoft Corp.'s MSFT Xbox confirmed that Activision Blizzard Inc.'s ATVI upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone 3 will be available for Xbox One.

Last week, there was confusion regarding the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, when a Twitter user pointed out that the Xbox page only mentioned Xbox Series X and S, and not Xbox One.

Meanwhile, an official PlayStation video hinted at releases on both Sony Group Corp.'s SONY PS5 and PS4, creating uncertainty for gamers regardings the title's past-gen compatibility.

However, this confusion has been resolved as the Xbox website was updated to include Xbox One, and both Xbox and PlayStation listings have been confirmed as accurate to IGN.

It's worth noting that a Call of Duty: Warzone event is scheduled for Aug. 17, and it is expected to provide further clarity and details of the popular franchise's next game, which will be released on Nov. 10.
