Elon Musk, in his signature audacious style, said he is going to try and fight Meta Platforms Inc META CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Monday night — and he's going to live stream all of it on X.
Musk, on Monday afternoon, posted on his X platform, “For the Tesla FSD test drive in Palo Alto tonight, I will ask the car to drive to @finkd's house. Will also test the latest X livestream video, so you can monitor our adventure in real-time! If we get lucky and Zuck my 👅 actually answers the door, the fight is on!”
Adding humor to the provocation, he said, “Knock knock. Who's there? Knutsēk. Nutsack who? Knutsēk Tæbag”, and ended with, “Tesla FSD test, X Livestream test & attempted Zuck fight triple header!!!”
Given Musk’s mention of a Tesla Inc TSLA FSD test, he may be using the unreleased and upcoming FSD Version 12 — not to be confused with FSD Beta V11.4.7, which Musk said is set to be released this week. Version 12, which Musk deemed “mind-blowing," is under assessment, as it boasts nearly 99% AI integration.
The Previous Day’s Jabs: Musk new and brazen communications follows Zuckerberg’s Sunday remarks that it’s time to “move on” from the hyped cage match showdown, citing Musk's lack of commitment to a definitive date.
“Elon isn't serious,” Zuckerberg said on his Threads platform.
Will They, Won’t They? The prospect of the tech moguls actually squaring off began in June, with Musk’s whimsical suggestion of a cage fight on X.
As the anticipation builds, all eyes will be on Monday evening’s developments to see if Musk and Zuckerberg truly face off in a showdown that would be nothing short of legendary.
