"Building on the accessibility improvements in previous titles, these features allow the game to be enjoyed by more players of different abilities."
Notably, players will have the ability to slow down gameplay with options to reduce the action speed to 70%, 50%, or 30%, at the touch of a button.
Additional accessibility features include screen reader support, which will audibly relay on-screen text in menus, as well as on-screen captions and audio descriptions for cinematic scenes.
More details about these features are expected to be disclosed closer to the game's launch on Oct. 20.
On July 21, PlayStation started pre-orders for its Access Controller, a customizable PS5 controller to enhance the gaming experience for players with disabilities.
