Microsoft Corp.'s MSFT Bethesda unveiled the global release times for its upcoming game Starfield, along with the minimum and recommended PC specifications.
Early access will be granted to those who pre-ordered premium editions or the Constellation Edition, enabling them to play starting Aug. 31, while standard edition holders will have to wait until Sept. 6, the developer announced in a blog post.

In Eastern and Pacific time zones, the game will be playable at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Aug. 31, translating to Sept. 1 at 1 a.m. BST/10 a.m. AEST.
Regarding PC specifications, both the minimum and recommended requirements for Starfield mandate an SSD and 125 GB of available space.
The minimum specs call for Windows 10 version 21H1, either an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i7-6800K processor, 16 GB of RAM, AMD Radeon RX 5700 or NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti graphics, DirectX 12 and an SSD.
The recommended specs include Windows 10/11 with updates, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel i5-10600K processor, 16 GB of RAM, AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics, DirectX 12, a broadband internet connection and an SSD.
Bethesda's Todd Howard previously confirmed that Starfield would run at 4K and 30 FPS on Xbox Series X and 1440p and 30 FPS on Xbox Series S to maintain performance consistency.
