A new trailer for the upcoming "Mortal Kombat 1" game has introduced Megan Fox as the latest playable fighter.
Nitara, a vampire from the realm of Vaeternus, is joining the battle to protect her vampire race, using her unique abilities in combat.
Fox described Nitara as a complex character who is both evil and good, driven by the desire to save her people.
"She comes from this weird realm; she is a type of vampire creature," the actress said in a recently released trailer. "She's evil, but she's also good. She's trying to save her people. I really like her."

The "Jennifer's Body" star added: "She's a vampire which obviously resonates for whatever reason. It's cool to be in the game, you know? Because I'm not really just voicing it, it'll be like she's kind of me."
Moreover, Fox expressed her excitement about being part of the game and said she grew up playing "Mortal Kombat."
Mortal Kombat 1, developed by NetherRealm Studios, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. WBD will be released on Sept. 19 (or Sept. 14 for early access) on various platforms.
