Activision Blizzard Inc ATVI has unveiled the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" Open Beta, offering players a chance to preview the game before its official release on Nov. 10, 2023.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III," developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, marks the twentieth installment in the Call of Duty series and continues the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series, following 2022's Modern Warfare II.

The primary method to acquire a Modern Warfare 3 BETA code is through pre-ordering one of the game's editions.
The most affordable option costs $69.99 / £69.99, and it includes a BETA code upon pre-order. Most physical retailers accept a $5 / £5 pre-order deposit, while online retailers necessitate a full purchase. For digital pre-orders, the BETA code will be emailed a few days before the BETA starts.
Modern Warfare 3 BETA is scheduled for two weekends, as reported by Insider Gaming:
- Beta weekend 1 (PS4/PS5): Oct. 6, 2023, to Oct. 10, 2023.
- Beta weekend 2 (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC): Oct. 12, 2023, to Oct. 16, 2023.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" will maintain the series' core gameplay with features like slide canceling and "Open Combat Missions" in the campaign. Multiplayer will include all sixteen maps from "Modern Warfare 2," voting for maps, increased player health, and the return of the "red dot" minimap.
Classic game modes will be joined by "Cutthroat," Ground War, and War modes. AI-powered moderation will tackle toxic behavior, and over a dozen new multiplayer maps are planned. Moreover, an open-world PvE Zombies mode co-developed by Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games will be featured.
Pre-ordering the game grants early access to the campaign on Nov. 2, 2023, while Activision has clarified that player's experience on the Open Beta will not carry over to the full game.
Modern Warfare 3 will officially launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
