Sony Has A Black Friday Treat For PlayStation 5 Owners: Six Months Of Free Apple Music, Here's How To Get It

Sony Group Corp. SONY has a sweet new Black Friday deal for existing PlayStation 5 owners, offering a free six-month subscription to Apple Music.

What Happened: If you already have a PlayStation 5 gaming console, you can grab a six-month of Apple Music subscription for free.

The offer is available for new and returning Apple Music subscribers – while new subscribers get a six-month subscription, returning and qualified Apple Inc. AAPL Music users get five months.

A regular Apple Music subscription costs $10.99 per month, so you get a $66 worth freebie.

Apple and Sony earlier ran a similar promotion, offering Apple TV Plus for free for six months.

How To Get Free Apple Music With PlayStation 5

To redeem the free Apple Music offer, you will need an Apple ID as well as a PSN account.

The free Apple Music offer is available through Nov. 15, 2024, so you have plenty of time to redeem it.

Here's how you can claim the free Apple Music offer on your PlayStation 5:

  • Download and open the Apple Music app on your PlayStation 5.
  • Sign in with your Apple ID – the free Apple Music offer will appear on the screen.
  • Tap to accept it and enjoy six months of Apple Music for free.

Note that you will have to redeem the offer on the PlayStation 5. Once you do, you can use Apple Music on any device.
