A leaked survey from Microsoft Corp.'s MSFT Blizzard hinted at potential pricing strategies for the forthcoming Diablo IV expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
Diablo IV initially garnered positive reviews upon its June release, but criticism surfaced regarding its grind-heavy endgame and the lukewarm reception of its first season, prompting Blizzard to make rapid adjustments. As the game stabilized in 2023, anticipation builds for the upcoming expansion, slated for a late 2024 release.

The Vessel of Hatred expansion would introduce a new class and unveil the jungle-covered realm of Nahantu, previously featured in Diablo II.
Blizzard is contemplating various pricing models, with the leaked survey offering bundles priced at $50, $70, $80 and $100, according to YouTuber Bellular News via Kotaku.
Each package includes the expansion along with distinct digital rewards such as character skins, mounts, in-game currency and cosmetic items.
Notably, higher-priced tiers may not include premium benefits like early access to the DLC or battle passes, while lower-priced tiers could offer these features.
Some expensive bundles may also provide advantages such as additional stash space and early access to an NPC follower.
Blizzard hasn't confirmed these details officially. The survey was meant for Blizzard to gauge player preferences and pricing sensitivity. The company is gathering feedback to shape its decision-making process, which may affect pricing and features based on the feedback received.
