Originally scheduled for late 2023, the delay was attributed to the need for further testing to ensure quality, especially for features like New Game+ and Audio Descriptions. The studio also plans to incorporate features allowing players to adjust time of day, swap tendril colors, and replay missions.
The delay notwithstanding, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been acclaimed for its captivating storytelling, despite some criticism of its open-world mechanics.
It's worth noting that PlayStation Plus Premium members can now experience two hours of gameplay as a trial before deciding on a purchase.
