Pocketpair, the creators of Palworld, have unleashed their most extensive update yet, version 0.2.0.6, packed with exciting new features.
The headline addition is the introduction of the game’s first raid boss, Bellanoir, along with a bunch of fresh content and items.
Now, players can summon Raid Boss Pals using slabs at the Summoning Altar. But beware, these creatures are incredibly powerful and can’t be captured, so teaming up with your base Pals is essential for taking them down. Defeating Raid Boss Pals might even score you some valuable Pals Eggs.
The update doesn’t stop there; it brings in a range of new items like Training Manuals for boosting your Pals’ experience, Recovery Meds for gradual HP recovery, and the handy Homeward Thundercloud for quick base travel.
There are also various tweaks and additions across the game, including changes to Pals, UI improvements, balancing adjustments, bug fixes, and measures to prevent cheating. Bases have been given a makeover too, allowing players more control, like forcing Pals to work or canceling their breaks.
Despite its popularity, Palworld hasn’t been without controversy. Accusations of it being a Pokémon clone have led to some heated discussions, with Nintendo ADR NTDOY even taking action against the game. But despite the challenges, Palworld continues to grow, with its dedicated player base eagerly anticipating future updates and expansions.
