God of War: Ragnarok initially debuted on PlayStation 4 and 5 in November 2022, quickly becoming a record-breaking success, with over 15 million copies sold as of November 2023.
This move follows Sony’s trend of bringing its popular titles to the PC platform, as seen with games like Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and The Last of Us Part 1. Ghost of Tsushima is also set to arrive on PC soon.
While Sony has been expanding its reach to PC players, it has refrained from simultaneous releases with console launches, although there have been exceptions like Helldivers 2.
According to IGN, Sony might address these rumors in an upcoming State of Play broadcast. If God of War: Ragnarok indeed arrives on PC, it will mark another significant step in Sony’s efforts to reach a broader audience beyond its PlayStation consoles.
