In June 2024, several games, including Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5), will be removed from Sony Group Corp.‘s SONY PlayStation Plus Games Catalog for Extra Tier members.
According to Push Square, the PlayStation Store’s “Last Chance to Play” page lists twelve titles slated for removal on June 18. These include:

- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
- Indivisible
- DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace
- Dodgeball Academia
- Monster Jam Steel Titans
- MotoGP 23
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
- The Talos Principle, Deluxe Edition
- The Wild at Heart
- Unturned
Additionally, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will lose access to Baja: Edge of Control HD from the Classic Games Catalog.
GTA 5’s removal is notable, occurring just a month after the addition of Red Dead Redemption 2, another popular title from Take-Two Interactive Software Inc‘s TTWO Rockstar Games.
Despite these removals, May 2024’s additions to the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog, including Cat Quest, Watch Dogs, and G-Police, although fewer in number, feature notable titles with Red Dead Redemption 2 expected to be a major highlight.
