Riot Games has officially launched Valorant Console on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, following a successful Open Beta period.
This move expands the popular tactical shooter's reach beyond its initial PC launch. It aims to deliver the same high-stakes competitive experience to console gamers.

Global Availability And Cross-Play Limitations
Valorant Console is now accessible to players across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil.
Riot Games made it clear that while cross-play between PC and console platforms will not be supported, players on Sony Group Corp.’s SONY PlayStation and Microsoft Corp.’s MSFT Xbox will be able to compete together.
Continuity For Existing Players
For those transitioning from PC to console, Riot Games offers reassurance regarding continuity. Players' Friends List, Collection (including Skins, Player Cards, Gun Buddies), Battle Pass progress, and Agent unlocks will all carry over to the console version.
Furthermore, updates, including live patch balances, new agents, and maps, will be synchronized across both PC and console platforms.
Arnar Gylfason, the production director of Valorant, said: "We've received so much valuable feedback from players during Limited Beta, and feel confident to deliver on our gameplay promise for console players."
He added: "Whether it’s hitting that perfect shot, executing a flawless team play, or wiping out the enemy team, we look forward to seeing console players experience the same gameplay thrill as VALORANT PC players."
Xbox Game Pass Perks
Valorant remains a free-to-play title, but Xbox Game Pass members will benefit from additional perks. All current and future Agents will be unlocked for Game Pass subscribers, enhancing the game’s appeal to Xbox’s extensive user base.
