What if money was no object, where would you choose to call home? Benzinga asked our Twitter followers the question and the responses were as varied and unique as you might expect.

From bustling city life to idyllic countryside hideaways and globetrotting dreams, our community has a wealth of diverse preferences when it comes to ideal locations.

Let’s dive in.

First off, one respondent bucked the question entirely: “Nowhere, I’d be traveling the rest of my life.”

Stateside, we had a couple of shout-outs for Virginia Beach and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

One follower detailed their dream homestead in the countryside, complete with acres of land teeming with fruit trees, a fishing pond, a mansion, all managed by landscapers or robots.

Turning towards the tropics, Hawaii was highlighted as a top pick. It’s hard to argue with this one.

Some of our respondents are drawn to the mountainous landscapes of the Swiss Alps, including Davos.

Urban lovers weren’t left out. From the dynamic streets of New York City to the bustling life of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, the magnetic appeal of city life resonates with many.

There’s an undeniable allure to living on the water, and that’s exactly what was envisioned by the follower who would prefer to live in the South of France or the South Pacific — but on a boat.

Destinations like St. John (U.S. Virgin Island), South Korea, Singapore and Monaco were also on the list. These locations offer a mix of cultural richness, a high standard of living, and unique lifestyles that make them appealing to many.

From the freedom of endless travel to the serenity of countryside living, from the energy of city life to the tranquility of island existence — our collective ideal locations are as varied as our individual lives.
