Week 2 of the NFL season is in the books, and so are all of the betting opportunities it afforded. But there's no need to fret:  there are plenty of games that deserve your attention.

Before you place your bets, it's good practice to look at your past performance. While doing so, here are a handful of Week 2 bets that most people wish they had made.

Trending: NFL Betting Odds Right Now

49ers (-7.5) at Rams | 49ers -345; Rams +275 | O/U 45

Final score: 49ers – 30, Rams – 23

Despite being on the road, the 49ers came into the matchup against the Rams as heavy favorites. However, the game was close throughout, with the 49ers holding a slim three-point lead at the end of the third quarter.

A bet on the Rams +7.5 would have put money in your pocket.

Giants (-5.5) at Cardinals | Giants -245; Cardinals +200 | O/U 40

Final score: Giants – 31, Cardinals – 28

Both of these teams entered the game with major questions on offense. While it may not be indicative of the rest of the season, the Giants and Cardinals scored points at a high clip.

The O/U was 40, which is low for an NFL game. If you had bet the over, you would have won by the time the third quarter ended.

Ravens at Bengals (-3.5) | Ravens +150; Bengals -180 | O/U 46.5

Final score: Ravens – 27, Bengals – 24

The Bengals were coming off a poor showing in Week 1, so most people expected them to perform better against the Ravens — especially because they were playing at home.

While they put up 24 points, it wasn't enough to overcome the Ravens. A moneyline bet on the Ravens at +150 would have paid off handsomely. For example, a $100 bet would have paid out $250 total.

Chargers (-3) at Titans | Chargers -142; Titans +120 | O/U 45.5

Final score: Titans – 27, Chargers – 24

This was one of the most anticipated matchups of Week 2, and it lived up to the hype. After a back-and-forth game, the Titans came out on top in overtime.

A spread or moneyline bet on the Titans — the over — would have resulted in a winner.

Commanders at Broncos (-3.5) | Commanders +145; Broncos -175 | 39

Final score: Commanders – 35, Broncos – 33

Here's another example of an underdog pulling out a big win. Despite a late-game rally by the Broncos, the Commanders walked away with a huge win that could have playoff implications.

A $100 moneyline bet on the Commanders would have pocketed you a payout of $245.

Parlays are notoriously difficult to win, but that doesn't stop many people from trying. Here's a parlay everyone wishes they would have played last week:

  • Cardinals (+5.5)
  • Ravens (+150)
  • Rams (+7.5)
  • Titans (+120)
  • Commanders (+145)

A $100 wager on this parlay would have paid out a total of $4,811.10 (at +4811 odds).

With all this in mind, Week 3 is another opportunity to enjoy yourself and hopefully win big!
