Betting Odds: The 2024 NFL Draft could feature a handful of quarterbacks taken in the first round, which could come close to setting records.
In 35 of the last 89 NFL Drafts, a quarterback has been taken first overall, including five of the last six drafts and seven of the last 10 drafts.
The 1949 and 2018 NFL Drafts had four quarterbacks taken in the first 10 picks, which is the current record. The 1999, 2018 and 2021 NFL Drafts each saw five quarterbacks taken in the first round, which ranks second all-time, behind the 1983 NFL Draft where six quarterbacks went in the first round.
Current odds from DraftKings Inc DKNG are -380 that over 4.5 quarterbacks are taken in the first round.
