What's Going On With Meta Stock?

<p>EV giant <strong>Tesla Inc</strong> (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) has crossed an important milestone on the way to rolling out its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/entertainment/24/07/39870013/elon-musk-reacts-as-rapper-meek-mill-flexes-his-all-black-cybertruck-ahead-of-his-new-song-">stainless steel Cybertruck </a>in the neighboring country of Canada. </p>
<p><strong>What Happened:</strong> Canada granted the EV maker approval to use its steer-by-wire system in the country as required for testing. The technology, which does not meet the country&#8217;s specification for minimum steering angle, is only available on the company&#8217;s Cybertruck and not on any of its other offerings.</p>
<p>Tesla, however, will have to provide detailed semi-annual incident reports starting on January 18, the government said, while also meeting other regulatory demands.</p>
<p>&#8220;An important milestone on our way to Canada,&#8221; Cybertruck lead engineer <strong>Wes Morrill</strong> said about the green light from the Canadian government. </p>

<p>Former Tesla executive <strong>Rohan Patel </strong><a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/02/37304997/tesla-executive-sheds-light-on-cybertruck-availability-in-canada-have-to-file-some-routine-paperwork">confirmed earlier this year</a> that Tesla will indeed sell Cybertrucks in Canada. </p>
<p>"No doubt we will sell Cybertruck in Canada- insanely huge interest,"&nbsp;Patel&nbsp;wrote on X, formerly Twitter.</p>
<p>"Have to file some routine paperwork, but hoping that can be wrapped up soon," he added. Patel was vice president of Public Policy and Business Development at Tesla. He left the company in April. </p>
<p>Tesla&#8217;s Canadian website currently shows only an option to pre-order the Cybertruck for $150. </p>

That&rsquo;s more than 50% of the company&rsquo;s market valuation. The cash will likely be utilized to make inroads into the consumer-direct business.</p>

Amidst the volatility, BLDE stock has remained sideways in the last 12 months. I see this as a good opportunity to accumulate with business developments being positive.</p>



<p>As an overview, Blade Mobility provides air transportation alternatives to congested ground routes in the U.S. The business model is unique and asset-light. For Q1 2024, the company reported <a target="_blank" href="https://ir.blade.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/94/blade-air-mobility-reports-financial-results-for-the-first">13.8% revenue growth</a> on a year-on-year basis to $51.5 million. While the company reported an adjusted EBITDA loss of $3.5 million, the guidance for the full year is to deliver positive adjusted EBITDA.</p>



<p>The important point is that the medical segment <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_5e2903f587423ba61e2f3dbf0d182b5c/blade/db/1335/12025/investor_presentation/2024.05+BLADE+-+Investor+Deck+v9.pdf" target="_blank">reported revenue growth</a> (trailing twelve months) of 58% YOY to $136 million. Further, the segment adjusted EBITDA to $13.3 million. The passenger segment has negatively impacted the EBITDA margin. However, overall EBITDA will likely turn positive as growth sustains in the medical segment. At the same time, the passenger segment is expected to deliver better margins on operating leverage. Thus, I think it is one of the potential multibagger penny stocks.</p>



<h2>Standard Lithium (SLI)</h2>

That&rsquo;s largely due to a rally of almost 40% in the last month. However, I am tempted to talk about the stock as the company is developing a major business. I believe SLI stock can be 20x to 30x in the next five years.</p>



<p>The first point is that Standard Lithium is a game-changing asset in South West Arkansas. The asset has a base case <a target="_blank" href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_39caacca9c3236899b9b5698695fe235/standardlithium/db/314/2108/pdf/Nov+6%2C+2023+Corp+Presentation+RFS.pdf">after-tax net present value</a> of $4.5 billion. Further, the Lanxess project has an after-tax NPV of $772 million. Based on asset valuation, SLI stock is deeply undervalued. The reason is a decline in lithium price coupled with a lack of financing for the big projects.</p>



<p>However, earlier this month, Standard Lithium <a target="_blank" href="https://www.standardlithium.com/investors/news-events/press-releases/detail/171/standard-lithium-and-equinor-form-partnership-to-develop">announced a partnership agreement</a> with <strong>Equinor</strong> (NYSE:<strong><a target="_blank" href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/eqnr-stock-quote/">EQNR</a></strong>). The partnership is to develop the South West Arkansas and East Texas lithium projects. With critical financial support, I expect SLI stock to surge higher once lithium reverses.</p>

However, some exposure can be considered, and if the business progress is positive, returns can be 20x or 30x from current levels. It&rsquo;s worth mentioning that YTRA stock trades at an attractive forward P/E of 9.2 times.</p>



<p>Yatra is one of the leading online travel booking companies in India. The country is growing at a healthy pace, and the addressable market for travel and tourism is significant. It&rsquo;s expected that by 2030, Indians will be the fourth-largest global travel spenders. By the decade&rsquo;s end, travel expenditures are <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2023/11/02/indian-travelers-are-set-to-be-fourth-largest-global-spenders-by-2030-.html">pegged to touch $410 billion</a>. There is a massive opportunity for growth.</p>



<p>An important point to note is that Yatra has a differentiating factor in an increasingly competitive online travel booking market. The company is India&rsquo;s largest corporate travel player. Currently, Yatra has a <a target="_blank" href="https://s22.q4cdn.com/850749348/files/doc_presentations/2024/May/30/yatra-investor-presentation-may-2024.pdf">customer base of 849 large corporates</a> with an addressable employee base of more than seven million.</p>



<p>At the same time, the online travel booking company is expanding its reach in the business-to-consumer market. Overall, I expect significant growth acceleration due to a tourism boom in India.</p>



<h2>Solid Power (SLDP)</h2>

If the battery company can successfully commercialize them, the sky is the limit for SLDP stock.</p>



<p>It&rsquo;s worth noting that the stock has increased by 25% in the last six months after an extended period of correction. This has been due to steady progress on the R&amp;D front, and I am bullish on further upside.</p>



<p>An important point to note is that Solid Power has the backing of strong automotive partners. These include <strong>Ford</strong> (NYSE:<strong><a target="_blank" href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/f-stock-quote/">F</a></strong>) and <strong>BMW</strong> (OTCMKTS:<strong><a target="_blank" href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/bmwyy-stock-quote/">BMWYY</a></strong>). In December 2022, the company licensed its cell technology and design to BMW for parallel R&amp;D. Further, Solid Power has also licensed its cell design technology to SK On (Korea) for R&amp;D. Collaborative research is likely to help accelerate the commercialization of solid-state batteries.</p>



<p>Last year, Solid Power delivered A-1 cells to automotive customers for validation testing. The battery maker is <a href="https://www.solidpowerbattery.com/investor-relations/investor-news/news-details/2024/Solid-Power-First-Quarter-2024-Results-Reflect-Continued-Progress-Towards-2024-Goals/default.aspx" target="_blank">currently focused on A-2 cells</a>, which address the concerns and challenges of the A-1 design. The A-2 cells will likely be delivered to automotive customers before the end of the year.</p>



<h2>Tilray Brands (TLRY)</h2>

However, with positive news on the regulatory front, I expect the stock to skyrocket.</p>



<p>First, Germany recently legalized cannabis, and other European countries are likely to follow suit. Further, cannabis is likely to be reclassified as a Schedule III drug in the U.S. Tilray has already filed for a <a target="_blank" href="https://ir.tilray.com/news-releases/news-release-details/tilray-brands-announces-market-program-fund-strategic-and">potential stock offering</a> of $250 million. Once the rescheduling is effective, the proceeds will be used for potential acquisitions in the U.S.</p>



<p>It&rsquo;s also worth noting that international expansion has yielded positive results for Tilray. For Q3 2024, the cannabis company <a href="https://ir.tilray.com/news-releases/news-release-details/tilray-brands-inc-reports-q3-fiscal-2024-financial-results" target="_blank">reported 44% year-on-year growth</a> in the international cannabis business. There is a big addressable market in Europe to help the company sustain its growth.</p>



<p>At the same time, Tilray is likely to benefit from diversification. The company is now the fifth largest craft beer brewer in the U.S. Entry into the alcoholic beverage business also provides the company with a strong strategic infrastructure for expansion in the U.S.</p>

<p>As you may have heard, <strong>Elliott Management</strong>, the hedge fund managed by billionaire activist investor Paul Singer, has accumulated $1.9 billion position in LUV stock. The fund has already <a href="https://www.marketwatch.com/story/southwest-airlines-stock-surges-after-report-of-activist-elliotts-large-stake-1148b977">laid out a turnaround plan</a> to improve the company&rsquo;s operating performance. Elliott believes that, if successfully executed, this plan could boost LUV to $49 per share within a year.</p>



<p>Not too shabby, as that would represent around a 72.5% jump from current prices. Only time will tell whether Elliott makes headway with Southwest&rsquo;s board. Or, if its cost-cutting focused plan will produce the intended results. However, alongside a possible boost from shareholder activism, the aforementioned travel demand trends could lead to stronger-than-expected results for the airline. This too could drive a liftoff for LUV.</p>



<h2>Sunstone Hotel Investors (SHO)</h2>

Despite talk of robust travel demand, investors have been pessimistic about hotel REITs in recent months, and this stock is no exception.</p>



<p>Yet while Sunstone Hotel Investors stock may continue to languish through the upcoming &ldquo;hot travel summer,&rdquo; don&rsquo;t assume that Sunstone is doomed to produce weak returns over a longer time frame. At least, that&rsquo;s the view of Baird analyst Michael J. Bellisario. Last month, Bellisario pointed out that it&rsquo;s not just fatigue over &ldquo;higher for longer&rdquo; interest rates that&rsquo;s weighing on SHO.</p>



<p><a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4110850-sunstone-hotel-upgraded-to-outperform-at-baird-ahead-of-2025-inflection?source=content_type%3Areact%7Csection%3Asummary%7Csection_asset%3Aall_news%7Cfirst_level_url%3Asymbol%7Cbutton%3ATitle%7Clock_status%3ANo%7Cline%3A1">Disruptions related to hotel renovations</a> have been a factor as well. Bellisario argues that shares have become overly discounted because of this, creating a buying opportunity. As Sunstone&rsquo;s fiscal performance stands to improve starting next year, the analysts see a path to a rebound, and thus gives shares a &ldquo;Outperform&rdquo; rating. It may take some time, but it&rsquo;s not too early to lock down a position in SHO stock.</p>



<h2>Sun Country Airlines (SNCY)</h2>

As I recently argued, shares in the passenger, charter, and cargo airline have become <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/06/7-oversold-stocks-to-buy-in-june-2024/">oversold</a>, following the market&rsquo;s negative reaction to the company&rsquo;s latest quarterly earnings release.</p>



<p>Although Sun Country did report results that fell short of expectations, don&rsquo;t assume a similar scenario will play out in the quarters ahead. Positive surprises with Sun&rsquo;s Q2 and Q3 2024 results could indicate that the market overreacted with its response to the Q1 numbers. Recent news about air travel demand resilience underscores the possibility of this scenario playing out.</p>



<p>While for certain, strong summer results may just well sent SNCY stock, at around $10.50 per share today, back on up to $15 per share and up. If not later years, perhaps next year is when Sun Country shares cruise back to higher altitudes. According to sell-side forecasts, sell side forecasts call for earnings of <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SNCY/earnings">$1.58 per share in 2025</a>, with the highest forecast calling for earnings of $2.58 per share.</p>



<h2>United Airlines (UAL)</h2>

Sure, shares in the legacy carrier have arguably reached cruising altitude lately.</p>



<p>After climbing to prices topping $50 per share back in April, UAL stock has since held steady at or near this price level. As can be clearly deduced from UAL&rsquo;s super-low forward valuation of 5.1 times earnings, there is the perception of great uncertainty about fiscal performance going forward. To some extent this makes sense. It&rsquo;s not merely an issue of demand uncertainty. Delays in new <strong>Boeing</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/ba-stock-quote/"><strong>BA</strong></a>) aircraft deliveries has <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/united-pause-pilot-hiring-citing-boeings-delivery-delays-rcna142281">affected hiring at the airline</a>. </p>



<p>It&rsquo;s easy to see how this could also translate into an impact on operating results. However, late last month, <a href="https://www.barrons.com/articles/american-airlines-stock-united-delta-031b128b?mod=md_stockoverview_news">United reiterated its Q2 2024 guidance</a>. If the airline meets or beats forecasts, this could help shift investor sentiment back to bullish. This in turn could remove the current valuation discount being applied to UAL. Per Jeffries&rsquo; Sheila Kahayaoglu, UAL trades at <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4111059-united-airlines-lands-a-bull-rating-from-jefferies?source=content_type%3Areact%7Csection%3Asummary%7Csection_asset%3Aall_news%7Cfirst_level_url%3Asymbol%7Cbutton%3ATitle%7Clock_status%3ANo%7Cline%3A8">around a 25% discount to peers</a>.</p>



<h2>Wynn Resorts (WYNN)</h2>

Yes, in recent years, headwinds with the company&rsquo;s Macau operations have outweighed a resurgence among its casinos in Las Vegas and elsewhere. This has resulted in mixed performance for the stock.</p>



<p>However, Macau gaming revenue recently surged to its <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-06-01/macau-gaming-revenue-soars-to-post-covid-high-on-holiday-boost">highest levels</a> since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic four years ago. At the same time, WYNN stock has fallen back down to a reasonable valuation of 15.9 times forward earnings. Historically, shares have traded at a valuation in the <a href="https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/WYNN/wynn-resorts/pe-ratio#google_vignette">high teens/low 20s</a>. A Macau rebound alone may not necessarily drive a re-rating for WYNN, but there&rsquo;s another catalyst that might. </p>



<p>I&rsquo;m talking about Wynn&rsquo;s latest development gamble: the $3.9 billion <a href="https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/gambling-has-long-been-taboo-in-islamic-countries-now-analysts-see-uae-as-the-next-vegas">Wynn Al Marjan</a>, located in the UAE emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Set to open in 2027, this property could eventually generate <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4113309-wynn-resorts-and-mgm-resorts-have-big-plans-for-the-united-arab-emirates?source=content_type%3Areact%7Csection%3Asummary%7Csection_asset%3Aall_news%7Cfirst_level_url%3Asymbol%7Cbutton%3ATitle%7Clock_status%3ANo%7Cline%3A1">$1 billion per year in operating income</a>, according to analysts at CBRE. Further progress on this development, plus continued strength in Macau and in the U.S., could provide a significant boost for WYNN.</p>



<h2>Yatra Online (YTRA)</h2>

U.S.-domiciled YTRA owns a 65% stake in India-based travel site Yatra Online Limited. </p>



<p>As I&rsquo;ve pointed out previously, <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/04/if-you-can-only-buy-one-penny-stock-in-april-it-better-be-one-of-these-7-names/">YTRA stock is very undervalued</a>. Why? Yatra Online Limited, listed on India&rsquo;s BSE Exchange, as a market cap of Rs 20 billion, or around $246.3 million. This make&rsquo;s YTRA&rsquo;s worth around $160 million. Add in the U.S. parent&rsquo;s $52.4 million in cash and short-term investments, and it&rsquo;s clear that YTRA trades for around a third of its underlying value.</p>



<p>Although bridging this valuation may not happen anytime soon, in the long-run underlying value could be realized. The value of Yatra&rsquo;s main asset could also keep climbing. As <em>InvestorPlace&rsquo;s</em> Faisal Humayun recently argued, <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/06/penny-stock-perfection-3-low-priced-picks-with-sky-high-potential/">India&rsquo;s travel sector is growing at an accelerated pace</a>. Yatra is also the leading corporate travel booking agent in India. These advantages bode well for its long-term prospects.</p>

<p>At the same time, Ring Energy has reported positive free cash flows on a sustained basis. With potentially higher realized oil price, it&rsquo;s likely that FCF will swell and translate into higher financial flexibility.</p>



<h2>Blade Air Mobility (BLDE)</h2>

BLDE stock has remained sideways in the last 12 months. However, during this period, the business has progressed well. A strong upside may be impending.</p>



<p>As an overview, Blade Air Mobility is a provider of air transport alternative along congested ground routes in Northeast U.S., Southern Europe and Western Canada. The company has an asset-light model and operates under two business segments, passenger transport and medical transport.</p>



<p>In terms of growth catalysts, there are two points to note. First, Blade Air is operating in a limited geography. As the company expands within the U.S., there is ample headroom for growth acceleration.</p>



<p>Further, in the last twelve-months, the <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_a07457400ec26e771433d9ef3152b464/blade/db/1335/12025/investor_presentation/2024.05+BLADE+-+Investor+Deck+v9.pdf">medical transportation segment</a> has reported revenue growth of 56% year-over-year (<strong>YOY</strong>) to $136 million. The company claims to be the largest dedicated air transporter of human organs for transplant in the U.S. This segment has a <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_a07457400ec26e771433d9ef3152b464/blade/news/2024-05-07_Blade_Air_Mobility_Reports_Financial_Results_for_94.pdf">higher EBITDA margin</a> as compared to the passenger business.</p>



<h2>Yatra Online (YTRA)</h2>

<p>At the same time, Yatra Online is expanding its presence in the business-to-consumer market. This is likely to support significant growth acceleration and improvement in EBITDA margin. At current levels of $1.2 and a forward P/E of 9.2, YTRA stock looks massively undervalued.</p>
