Mark Cuban Wonders If Elon Musk-Era Twitter Users Are Losing Faith In Government, Media And Big Tech

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban asked his nearly 9 million Twitter followers their thoughts on the Elon Musk-run platform in a recent post.

What Happened: The “Shark Tank” co-host made three points that he said reflected the state of Twitter over the last few days. 

Cuban pointed out the distrust among Twitter users for the government and large technology companies.

Twitter the last few days:
1.We can't trust gov, they will censor our right to free speech on twitter.
2.We can't trust gov, they will give the wrong medical advice.
3.We can't trust big tech, they will censor our free speech. We need gov to regulate big tech.

Why It Matters: In response to Cuban’s tweets, author James Russell Lingerfelt said that “Many have lost faith in what the government & traditional media outlets report.”

Late last month, Cuban pointed out the lack of transparency on Twitter when it came to free speech and asked “When do we  see the @twitter Bill of Rights?"
