Trump's Jam-Packed Court Calendar: Will Legal Battles Derail 2024 White House Campaign?

Zinger Key Points
  • Each trial comes with a list of court dates that will likely clash with campaign events that a typical candidate might enjoy.
  • Here's a rundown of important calendar dates for both Trump and his fellow GOP contenders.

With less than 444 days to Election Day 2024, former President Donald Trump will be spending a good chunk of the time in court.

The Republican frontrunner is scheduled to stand trial on multiple fronts: state criminal charges in both New York and Atlanta, as well as federal charges in both Florida and Washington, D.C.

The 45th U.S. president also faces two civil cases in New York, one accusing him of business fraud and the other for defamation allegations from a rape accuser. Another lawsuit that accuses the Trump Organization of a pyramid scheme, filed in October 2018, is still pending.

Those trials come with a long list of court dates that are bound to clash with other routine events that a typical presidential candidate might enjoy, including next week's first Republican presidential primary debate.
