Benzinga's Political Roundup (AIG, CMCSA, GE, DB, GS)

Yesterday the U.S. federal government picked lead book runners for the "re-IPO" of AIG AIG. The banks doing the lead bookrunning are Goldman Sachs GS, Deutsche Bank DB, J.P. Morgan JPM, and Bank of America BAC. Yesterday the FCC voted 4-1 in favor of the deal for Comcast CMCSA to purchase General Electric's GE portion of NBC Universal. The U.S. is going to choose "systemically important" firms this Spring. The decisions will be made by the U.S. Treasury.
