Benzinga's Political Roundup (BP, EWJ)

BP Plc BP is suing Transocean RIG for damages stemming from the Deepwater Horizon rig blowup last April, and is seeking at least $40 billion in damages and other costs. Japan EWJ has been advised by the OECD to raise its sales tax to help pay for the construction following last month's devastating earthquake and tsunami.
