House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said he would consider cutting multi-billion dollar subsidies to oil companies, such as Exxon Mobil XOM and Conoco Phillips COP. This could save $45 billion over 10 years. Greece's budget deficit in 2010 was 10.5% of GDP, much greater than predicted by the Greek government or European Union authorities. This is affecting shares of National Bank of Greece NBG shares today.
