FedEx Raises Shipping Rates

FedEx FDX announced this past Friday it will raise rates for its ground and home delivery operations by 4.9%, beginning January 3rd. Barron's reports, "The rate hike follows a 3.9% hike on FedEx's Express service and a 6.9% hike on Freight and LTL rates, announced back in September." FDX closed Friday at $95.00.
