Boise Cascade Acquires Land Adjacent To Its Albuquerque Branch

  • Boise Cascade Co's BCC Building Materials Distribution (BMD) division has acquired 4.67 acres of land adjacent to its Albuquerque, New Mexico branch.
  • The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
  • The existing operating facility comprises 13 acres with 78,000 sq. ft. of covered storage. 
  • The BMD location services the New Mexico, West Texas, and Juarez markets.
  • "The expansion will increase our diversification of customer segments in those areas as well as our ability to expand current product offerings in engineered wood products (EWP), Trex composite decking, and various other commodities," said Arik Zonski, Albuquerque branch manager.
  • The company held $1.03 billion in cash and equivalents as of June 30, 2022.
  • Price Action: BCC shares are trading lower by 0.05% at $60.84 in premarket on the last check Thursday.
