There really has been no place for spooked investors to hide in U.S. equity markets over the last couple of weeks. All industry sectors, as well as commodities, have experienced a broad sell off, which is continuing today. Currently, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen 186 points, or 1.86%, to 9,879.
The only Dow componenet which is in the green today is Home Depot HD, which has rallied substantially to $33.25 after opening the trading day at $32.54. Even after moving up throughout the morning, however, the stock is still only up 0.03% on the session.
