Energy Stocks Moving Higher (BHI, BP, APC, APA, HAL, NE, OIH)

Energy stocks are leading the markets higher today, after dragging on the indices yesterday. Leading the way on the session is Anadarko Petroleum APC, which is up 11.20% after falling more than 18% on Wednesday. APC shares are now trading at $38.75. BP BP has jumped 12% after losing more than 15% yesterday. BP shares are now trading for $32.69 apiece. Baker Hughes BHI is also having a strong day, surging 7.98% to $41.39. Over the last three months, BHI has fallen 17.17%. The company now has a market cap of $17.77 billion. Apache Corp. APA has been one of the relative outperformers in the energy sector, as APA has only lost 6.5% over the last month. The stock is having another strong day, gaining 3.60% to $92.04. Halliburton HAL has jumped 7% today and Noble Energy is up 4.68% on the session. The Oil Service HOLDRs ETF OIH has gained 5.55% and is currently trading at $96.88.
