Shares of Wells Fargo WFC have been under a little bit of pressure on Tuesday, declining 1.37% to $28.19. Volume has been noticeably light, however. Over the last 3-months, WFC has fallen almost 17%. The shares are trading at a forward P/E of 9.86 and a PEG ratio of 1.44. The bank has a market cap of $147.47 billion.
While the stock has more than tripled from its March 2009 lows, the share price has been locked in a pretty tight range for more than a year. If the economic recovery turns out to be more of a liquidity driven aberration, and a double dip recession materializes, reach for some WFC to short sell.
